First things first, Happy Holidays from the Vongio & Aurevon team! We hope you have a great ending to the year.
A quick follow-up from our last post
In our last post, we talked about building a fragrance wardrobe and choosing scents by mood and moment, not just “perfume vs cologne.”
Now let us take it one step further: layering.
Layering is how you go from wearing a scent to creating a presence. It is also one of the easiest ways to make your fragrance feel personal, even when you are wearing a signature scent from a collection.
1) What layering actually is (and what it is not)
Layering means combining fragrances in a controlled way so the final scent feels balanced and intentional.
Layering is not spraying five different scents and hoping they work. When layering is done right, it should feel smooth, not chaotic.
The goal: one clear vibe, with more depth and longevity.
2) The simple rule that keeps layering from going wrong
Use the Top, Heart, Base idea to guide you.
Top: the first impression
Heart: the personality
Base: the lasting trail
We already use this structure in our Bespoke Mini process, where you choose base, middle, and top notes and we blend them into a custom fragrance.
Layering works the same way, you are just doing it by pairing finished scents.
3) The safest way to layer: base first, bright second
If you want layering to smell expensive, follow this order:
Apply your deeper scent first (the base energy).
Add your brighter scent second (the lift and sparkle).
Keep it light. One or two sprays of each is enough.
Where to spray:
Base scent: chest or collarbone
Bright scent: neck or upper shirt area
This keeps the blend from becoming too dense.
4) Easy Aurevon layering ideas using the signature collection
Our first collection launched with four signature scents: Vanilla Luxe, Allure, Sovereign Bleu, and Amber Ignite.
Here are layering directions that match real-life moods, without overcomplicating it:
Clean + Warm (Everyday, but elevated)
Sovereign Bleu (fresh, airy) + Vanilla Luxe (soft, smooth)
This gives “clean skin” energy with a cozy finish.
Bold + Sensual (Night out, date night)
Allure (spice, citrus) + Amber Ignite (deep, sensual)
This reads confident, memorable, and grown.
Soft + Intimate (Close conversations, calm confidence)
Vanilla Luxe + a light touch of Amber Ignite
Warm, inviting, and personal.
Tip: If you want a compliment trail, your base matters most. That is the part people remember later.
5) How to test a layering combo before you commit
Do this once and you will never waste sprays again:
Spray combo on a test strip (or thick cardstock paper).
Wait 10 minutes. Smell again.
Then try on skin, but only one spray of each.
Check it at 30 minutes and 3 hours.
If it smells good at 30 minutes, it is usually a winner.
6) Layering meets Bespoke Mini
If you find a combo you love, Bespoke Mini is how you turn that idea into a signature that belongs to you.
In our first post, we introduced Bespoke Mini as the way to create a custom scent by selecting base notes, middle notes, and top notes, and having it blended into a personalized fragrance.
So if you like “fresh + warm” or “spicy + amber,” tell us that direction. That is the fastest way to create a custom profile that still feels like Aurevon.
7) Monthly scent drops are going to make layering even better
We announced that Aurevon will release a new scent every month starting February 2026, with subscription options coming soon.
New drops mean new layering options, which means your scent wardrobe keeps evolving without you needing a full shelf of bottles.
Your next step
If you already own two scents, try one combo from this post and wear it for a full day.
If you want a signature that no one else has, submit a Bespoke Mini request and describe the vibe you want.
If you want consistent variety, keep an eye on the monthly drops starting February 2026.
Think . Feel . Vongio .
